2R e-Bikes: Make differences matter

2R e-Bikes: Make differences matter

On June 11, 2018

2R e-Bikes (Netherlands) – Effective July 2018 a brand new kind of e-bike will be available on the market. Calling it a new brand would actually be an understatement. A ‘progressive new brand!’ would be a better way of describing 2R e-bikes. But what makes it so special?

Rob Beset and Rolf Singenberger, founders of 2R e-bikes, were always fascinated by bikes. The two cycling addicts both worked for big companies. Rob, former manager of Accell Group, and Rolf, former head of development at BMC, met each other during an assignment for the race bike brand Eddy Merckx. Over the years they designed and developed award and tour winning bikes, and thought it was time to create something new for the e-bike world. Something that would meet the needs and expectations of the urban e-bike rider.

Therefor they not only used their knowledge and experiences gained in the past, they also saw unique opportunities when it came to the design, technologies, and materials. For those last two aspects they immersed themselves into the car and racing industry. Interesting technologies and materials that would greatly affect the development of 2R e-bikes. Inspiring innovations which are completely new in this field.

All major factors that would contribute to the overall look and feel of the e-bikes, followed by adapting and transforming the highest quality materials to a modern, urbanized kind of cycle experience. The result? Two different models, each for a different riding style, but both extremely lightweight, provided with fully integrated parts and elements, and easy to connect with your phone.

2R e-bikes introduce the FS10 (powered by Fazua) for the sportive rider who’s up for the more hilly areas and the XD02 (powered by Ebikemotion) for daily city rides. The similarity is exactly that what 2R e-bikes stands for: inspiring, innovative, and stylish. The new urban e-bike in town that will make differences matter.

Both models will be available for both B2B and B2C market. For B2B they’re already collaborating with several retailers. Eventually every country will get its own 2R e-bikes distribution centre and servicepoint. For B2C there will even come a door-to-door delivery service.

Already looking forward to have a testdrive on one of the 2R e-bikes? Visit their stand (booth number A2-402) at Eurobike 2018 between the 8th and 10th of July 2018. In the meantime you can visit the 2R e-bikes website, so you can have a look at the models.
