A new prestigious brand has joined the pool of sponsors of Bahrain Merida Team, that has partnered up with the Finnish company HMD Global, creator of the next generation of Nokia-branded phones.
The partnership has been officially announced at the launch event of the new flagship smartphone and thanks to that agreement all the team will be supplied with next generation smartphones. In particular the new Nokia 8 will be the smartphone of all the riders of the team, to which belong worldwide famous champions such as Vincenzo Nibali, Ion Izagirre, Sonny Colbrelli and the new rider Domenico Pozzovivo. In addition to them, the new smartphones will be supplied to management and to all the other people belonging to the team, as the communication and logistics staff, sports directors, Doctors and mechanics.
