Bianchi Presents Oltre RC Tour de France Limited Edition

Bianchi (Italy) - Press Release: Bianchi unveils the Official Bike of the Tour de France, the Oltre RC Tour de France Limited Edition, a special edition bike produced in a limited run of only 176 units, the same number of athletes participating in the Grande Boucle. The aerodynamic concept of Bianchi Hyperbike now embraces the prestige and charm of the World’s greatest stage race.

The wait is over. Just a few days before the start of the 2023 Tour de France in Bilbao, Spain, Bianchi presents the Official Bike of the Grande Boucle. Oltre RC Tour de France Limited Edition embodies the essence of what brings together Bianchi and the Tour de France: two true love brands in the World of cycling, that have made history of the sport and continue to shape its future with innovation.

Prestige, exclusivity, charm, and innovation are all encompassed in each of the 176 models of the limited and numbered edition Oltre RC Tour de France. This number is not arbitrary: precisely 176 are the athletes who will set off from Bilbao on July 1st with the dream of writing a page in the history of the world’s most important cycling stage race, the third-largest global sporting event in terms of media impact, following the Olympic Games and the FIFA World Cup.

Bianchi and the Tour de France have developed a special edition of Bianchi Reparto Corse‘s flagship model. Oltre RC Tour de France Limited Edition enhances the aerodynamic concept of the cycling World’s first hyperbike, which uniquely employs the revolutionary Air Deflector technology, adding exclusive elements that are tied to the identity and prestige of the Tour de France in a fascinating encounter.

For this special occasion, the Bianchi Reparto Corse has developed a new exclusive color scheme, starting with the unmistakable Celeste Bianchi and transforming it with shifting shades, adorned with metallic and iridescent effects. It is a modern version of the traditional Celeste Bianchi, harmoniously merging with the iridescent yellow-gold, the iconic symbol of the Tour de France. Each of the 176 models of the Oltre RC Tour de France Limited Edition is hand-painted in Italy, with the Grande Boucle logo positioned on the right side of the seat tube.

Equipped with the Shimano Dura Ace Di2 system, Oltre RC is presented and sold as a full kit, featuring one of the lightest saddles in the world: the RC139 Carbon, weighing only 145g, customized with yellow accents and the Tour de France symbol. The guarantee of top performance is further reinforced by the Reparto Corse RC50 front and RC65 rear wheels, incorporating the SPB Tech system for absolute smoothness and speed.

With Oltre RC Tour de France Limited Edition, Bianchi returned to creating a model dedicated to the Grande Boucle, 70 years after the last time. In fact, back in 1952 and 1953, Bianchi produced the world’s first celebrational model called “Tour de France” on the occasion of Fausto Coppi’s first victory in 1952.

But here, an entirely new story begins.
