Laying months of speculation from customers to rest, Elite unveiled at Eurobike 2019 not one, but two new trainers for the forthcoming indoor trainer season, Tuo and Direto X.

Tuo:

Compact, easy-to-use and quiet, Tuo is a totally interactive wheel-on home trainer with automatic resistance adjustment.

Designed in cooperation with Turin-based studio Adriano Design, Tuo is manufactured to provide for an effective training tool in your indoor workouts or warming-up, while also offering a sophisticated piece of furniture with a sleek, Made in Italy design.

Beautiful during use and elegant when stored, this home trainer is worth having in any living room because of its compact structure with a metal frame and beechwood legs. Beechwood is regarded as one of the best materials for furniture making because it has good strength properties and high abrasion resistance. Despite its hardness, beechwood can also absorb shocks. This contributes in making Tuo the ideal tool to train effectively even during the most challenging sessions while having a perfect integration to your house that merges easily with any existing house furniture.

In fact, Tuo stands out for its compact configuration that includes easily foldable frame and legs to ensure quick setup when you’re using it, and a small footprint when you’re done using it.

Tuo measures power output with a ±3% accuracy, simulating slopes up to 10%. 

Direto X:

With a new graphic look in shades of chrome, the new Direto X is a major overhaul of the company’s best-selling trainer Direto more than a minor upgrade.

Building on the success of his predecessor, Direto X stands out as one of the best trainers worldwide in terms of power, accuracy and responsiveness thanks to its innovative built-in power meter, the OTS (Optical Torque Sensor).

As of today, Direto X is the only trainer on the market that is able to actually measure your power output via built-in power meter alongside the Drivo II and the old Direto. 

The OTS measures the power output in the Direto X trainer with increased ±1.5% accuracy compared to the old Direto’s ±2%, and allows gradient simulation of up to 18% compared to the Direto’s 14%. These features place the Direto X among our most evolved, accurate and reliable home trainers in terms of power measurement and performance.
