Our new Motus has been designed with you in mind, using the latest technology from market-leader Bosch to give you a premium electric experience. With four colours options in the range, the choice of hub or derailleur gearing systems plus a mixture of frame types, there's a Motus for everyone.

Battery:

The new Motus uses a Bosch PowerPack battery which offers reliable, long lasting energy storage with ergonomic designs. These Lithium Ion batteries have an impressive life expectancy and will last at least 1,000 full charges before any noticeable battery degradation. The Motus has the 300WH PowerPack whereas the Motus Tour and Grand Tour ranges use the 400WH PowerPack; which delivers an extended range of up to 110miles on a single charge.

Display:

Bosch electric bike displays show everything you need to know whilst riding. The Motus utilises the simple and compact Purion display whereas our Motus Tour and Grand Tour models feature the advanced Intuvia display. Both systems offer five riding modes including off, eco, tour, sport, and turbo plus a handy walk assist function to help reduce the weight of your bike if you have to push it up steps. Both displays are splash proof and are easily operated from the handlebars of your ebike.

Motor:

Our Motus range features the newly re-engineered Bosch Active Line motors, with our Grand Tour model featuring the upgraded Active Line Plus. Both motors are ideal for city riding, surfaced roads or cycle paths so you can use them as part of your everyday life. The Active Line Plus gives a little extra power output, offering extra assistance on moderate inclines, ideal for an elevated commute or for help on those steeper country roads and hills.

Quality and Comfort:

Our Motus Tour comes fitted with front and rear lights which are activated using a simple switch on the Intuvia display screen. The lights are activated using a simple switch on the Intuvia display screen.

Safe & Secure:
We know how important it is to keep your bike safe which is why our Motus Grand Tour comes fitted with a Trelock rear wheel lock. So you’ll be able to pop into the shops safe in the knowledge that your bike will be where you left it when you get back!

Improved Comfort:
Our Motus Grand Tour features a suspension seat post to reduce the impact of uneven terrain on your ride and increase your overall comfort. Plus we’ve kitted this model out with the Selle Royal Scientia saddle, developed following extensive research this award-winning saddle offers one of the highest levels of comfort on the market.

PowerPack 400:
A reliable and light lithium ion battery, without memory effect. The 400WH battery delivers long lasting power allowing you to travel further on a single charge. It’s easy to remove the battery and you can quickly charge to 50% in under four hours using the compact charger. The battery on the Motus Grand Tour has been carefully positioned to offer the best balance and weigh distribution for improved riding.

Centre-mounted motor:
The Active Line Plus motor from Bosch is a more agile and sporty motor great for extra power on steep hills. The centre-mounted motor offers improved weight distribution and is far more sensitive to your riding style than other motor types; it provides power exactly as you need it, making your experience seamless.

Frame Style:
The Motus is available in a choice of Low Step or Crossbar frame styles, meaning anyone can enjoy the smooth drive of this new electric bike range.

Intuvia:
The sophisticated Intuvia Display offers maximum clarity and convenience with the display screen placed in the centre of the handlebars for easy readability while the control unit is safely on the left handlebar. The handy gear shift indicator ensures you’re riding in the correct gear to optimise battery consumption to increase your bike’s range. Plus Intuvia can even charge your mobile!

Gearing:
Choose the right gearing system for you with options of Acera 9 speed derailleur gearing or Nexus 7 speed hub gears, both from Shimano. Hub gear systems have reduced maintenance and are more weather proof than derailleur gears however you’ll get a wider gearing range with traditional derailleurs and can maintain them yourselves if you’re a dab hand at bike DIY-ing.

Tailored wheels & tyres:
We’re focused on providing bikes that are perfectly tailored to you, that’s why our Motus is also available in a smaller 26” wheel size with a shortened frame to accommodate shorter riders or provide a nimbler turning circle. Our Motus range also features electric bike specific tyres to withstand the increased wear experience by electric bikes through higher weights & speeds.
