FSA Sheds Weight with the Latest KFX Mountain Bike Range!

FSA (Italy) - Press Release: FSA is proud to launch the brand new KFX range, bringing a new selection of lightweight and stiff components for mountain bikes. The pinnacle of the new range is the KFX 1X Crankset.

KFX Crankset 1X:

FSA’s new super lightweight aluminum modular MTB crank pushes component innovation to the next level. Forged and then precision CNC-machined with advanced bonding technology, the manufacturing process dramatically reduces weight while increasing stiffness. It is paired with FSA’s MegaTooth chainring to provide maximum performance in extreme conditions. The KFX is an ideal MTB crankset option for riders seeking a professional level crankset with superior performance.

KFX Stem:

The KFX Stem is 3D forged and CNC-machined from AL2014 alloy. Then it’s combined with a carbon structure using FSA CSI (Carbon Structural Integration) technology. CSI is a process that permanently bonds carbon to alloy to create a true hybrid product, with many of the benefits of aluminum and carbon. Riders have the option to run this stem at + or -12° to suit their riding style. For those whom a 20° drop is too much, a slightly less aggressive lightweight option is also available.

KFX Flat Handlebar:

An ultralight choice for XC and marathon racers, the KFX Flat handlebar uses carbon composite construction to achieve a weight of just 160g in the 700mm width. The unique design features an offset central clamping area so that the bar is flat all the way across the top. Internal reinforcement and surface texturing ensures firm clamping at the stem. It’s also reinforced where the controls attach and at the ends for bar end use.

KFX Riser Handlebar:

Constructed with rider position and comfort in mind, the KFX Low Riser Handlebar features a 9° back sweep and 4° up sweep. The UD carbon finish and sleek modern graphics make for an impressive looking bar that will handle the trail with both comfort and style. Internal Di2 cable routing ports finish off the comprehensively thought-out design. It weighs in at just 155g for the 700mm length.

KFX SB0 Seatpost:

With the shaft and head formed from one continuous carbon fiber section, the KFX SB0 seatpost is both light and strong. The SB0 features a zero-offset (in-line) clamp for a forward saddle position, with our forged alloy Minimal Top Clamp holding the saddle securely. Available also in SB25 version.
