Mitchelton-Scott (Australia) - Press Release: GreenEDGE Cycling has joined forces with the Singapore Cycling Federation (SCF) to establish a long-term collaboration between the two organisations.
The agreement will see GreenEDGE Cycling undertake an advisory role, providing professional development and guidance to the SCF, as they create a new professional cycling academy known as Pro Cycling SG.
General manager of GreenEDGE Cycling, Shayne Bannan, travelled to Southeast Asia to sign a memorandum of understanding with the SCF, with an official launch planned for the near future.
“It’s really exciting to be a part of such a project,” Bannan said at the launch of the new initiative.
“I think it’s a really realistic and achievable project that we’re proud to be involved in. I think it’s the start of a journey for cycling in Singapore and it’s great to be a part of the journey.”
“I think it’s something that will help stimulate cycling in Singapore and it will help stimulate riders. We’re looking forward to providing professional development and we’re looking forward to evolving this project together.”
