Hayter Sprints Into Romandie Lead

INEOS Grenadiers (Switzerland) - Press Release: Tour de Romandie stage 2: Morteau › La Chaux-de-Fonds, 162.7km.

Ethan Hayter powered to a comprehensive sprint victory on stage two to move into the overall race lead at Tour de Romandie.

Hayter rounded off an excellent team performance after a lead out from Egan Bernal and Jhonatan Narvaez on a tricky finish in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

The British national time trial champion had weathered a number of attacks on the categorised climbs approaching the finish, with only half the peloton making it to the final climb - Le Communal.
