Please note, the rough and tumble of general road riding and racing, and long fast alpine downhills with extended heavy braking, is better suited to our T700/800 carbon fibre rims used in the rest of our range, as T700/800 carbon fibre pre-preg has higher impact and heat resistance.
Bringing the spoke count down is a clear and obvious way to save weight, but we've also invested in Pillar's high-end Megalite spokes, weighing just 3.4g each! 2017-18 National Hill Climb Champion, Dan Evans, has been crucial to the development of the wheelset, and says "obviously they’re lovely and light but the main thing that comes across is how stiff and solid they feel, nothing like other climbing wheelsets on the market that’s for sure".
