Ineos Grenadiers Welcomes Ian Stannard and Dajo Sanders

INEOS Grenadiers (United Kingdom) - Press Release: INEOS Grenadiers is delighted to welcome back former team member Ian Stannard as a Sport Director from 2023, as well as welcoming Dajo Sanders, who will bolster the team’s elite coaching group.

Stannard spent 10 years of his cycling career racing for the team and became renowned for his racing grit and success in some of cycling’s toughest races. This included winning back-to-back editions of Omloop Het Nieuwsblad in 2014 and 2015 - the latter where he famously outraced two Etixx-Quickstep riders and won in an incredible two-up sprint.

The INEOS Grenadiers coaching staff will also be bolstered by the addition of Dajo Sanders. The highly experienced Dutchman competed at national and international level while also completing his BSc and MSc in Exercise Physiology at the University of Maastricht. Sanders has co-authored more than 30 widely published papers and has conducted applied sport science projects with multiple professional cycling teams.
