Introducing the 2019 All Road & Timberjack Lineup

Introducing the 2019 All Road & Timberjack Lineup

Salsa Cycles (United States) - Press Release: We’re pleased to introduce our updated All Road lineup. Below you’ll find highlights about the updates to each bike platform. Each links to more detailed information on their product detail pages.

Availability within each bike platform varies by model level, but everything we are introducing here will be available Fall 2018.

We hope you are as excited about the new offerings as we are!

Marrakesh:

Our world touring bike features a drop bar build in two colorways. Marrakesh has all the requisite goods necessary for a long, unpredictable journey on two wheels. Rear rack, kickstand plate, spare spoke holder…but most importantly a heavy-duty frameset that rides great when loaded down with a true touring load. Marrakesh gets a more modern styling with fresh new graphics.

Fargo:

The cult-classic, drop bar 29er goes big with 29 x 2.6” tire spec for every model. This tire size offers a fantastic mix of rollover, traction, and bump absorption. The Firestarter 110 fork brings boost spacing to the front end of the bike and a host of additional features; dual sets of Three-Pack mounts on each fork leg, low rider mounts for our Down Under rack, and internal dynamo hub wire routing. The frame continues to utilize our Alternator v1.5 dropout for belt drive use and remains compatible with both 29 and 27.5+ wheel/tire sizes.

Vaya:

Our original steel All-Road bike returns in one model level with two colorways. New graphics bring a bit of sizzle, but the bigger news is the use of our Waxwing carbon fork. The Waxwing fork features side-mounted Three-Pack mounts, low rider mounts for our Down Under rack, and internal dynamo wire routing. Vaya has become an even more versatile thriller for the steel-is-real set.

Cutthroat:

Our Tour Divide race bike is a perpetual favorite, so we’ve added a fourth spec to the mix. In part due to Salsa engineer Sean Mailen’s fantastic Cutthroat ride at the Trans North Georgia event in 2017, we now offer a front suspension model for those looking to take on more rough terrain.

Journeyman:

Folks were so stoked with Journeyman that they asked us to add a slightly higher spec’d model to our lineup. With all the previous Journeyman models returning, we are pleased to add a new upper-level spec in both 700c and 650b drop bar builds. Journeyman remains the bike that grows with your cycling ambitions, from bike paths to racing gravel, and neighborhood rides to week-long tours.

Warbird:

Our biggest news for the day is the release of the completely redesigned Warbird v4. There are too many important new features to mention in one paragraph, so we’ll single out Dual Wheel Size Compatibility. That’s right, Warbird can now run up to 700c x 45mm OR 650b x 2.1” wheels/tires. But there’s a heck a lot of more improvements we’ve made to our gravel race slayer, so click here for a separate blog post sharing all of the relevant details. With five model levels, all sharing the same incredible carbon frame, there is truly a Warbird for everyone.

Timberjack:

Timberjack has been widely popular with its modern trail bike geometry and feature rich design. We’re pleased to introduce three model levels in both 29 and 27.5+ wheel sizes, including a new higher end NX Eagle spec. Our thanks to all the folks that have embraced the Timberjack for their trail riding needs!

Timberjack Kids:

One year into our first foray into the Kids bike arena, our Timberjack 20 and 24 with rigid forks return. Those forks allow kids to carry extra water bottles, help haul gear on family outings, or just carry empty containers for collecting bugs, rocks, leaves or whatever catches their fancy. But we’re also psyched to add Timberjack 20 SUS and Timberjack 24 SUS to the lineup. Sporting front suspension forks, these are destined for little rippers everywhere working on learning the ropes of mountain biking.
