IRONMAN races now require athletes to wear a Helmet during Swim and Run
IRONMAN Europe (Germany) – Due to liability reasons, the swim and run legs of all IRONMAN races now require athletes to wear a helmet, too.

"I'm stoked to hear this, my transition times will improve drastically" says multiple IRONMAN finisher David Smith from Manchester. IRONMAN is currently working with partners to come up with helmets that will offer not only best-in-business aero- but also spectacular hydrodynamics.
