Hiplok (United Kingdom) - Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for Hiplok’s UK wholesale business. You will manage all wholesale and trade marketing activity through Hiplok’s distributor and retail network to deliver profitable sales and sustainable brand growth within the bicycle and sporting goods markets.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Manage all UK key accounts with full revenue and margin responsibility
- Deliver outstanding account management and customer service practice to foster strong relationships with customer and buying contacts
- Work both directly with national retailers and with Hiplok’s UK distributor to identify retail sales opportunities, develop ranging plans and implement sales support programs
- Implement retailer merchandising and sales training programs both in store and online
- Act as the voice of the UK retailer and customer within the business, providing up to date sales analysis to drive product strategy and production planning
- Provide clear direction to UK sales administrator to support timely efficient shipping of orders
- Responsibility for UK sales and budget forecasting
- Act as the key point of contact for all UK wholesale enquiries and represent Hiplok at UK based customer and trade events
Requirements:
- Demonstrable success in a similar national account management/business development role
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Good commercial acumen
- Positive, entrepreneurial “Can Do” attitude
- Must be prepared to travel regularly within the UK
