Job brief:

reTyre is launching world wide and you will be in the front lines - establishing the brand and products in new countries, connecting with global businesses and creating new and exciting market opportunities. As part of a small team in a fast growing company you will get a lot of responsibilities and exciting challenges, but also a lot of freedom and unique experiences.

We are looking for a passionate, high-performing Sales Development Representative to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by finding, meeting and converting B2B partners worldwide. You will be visiting some of the most interesting companies in the market, crafting sales plans and getting our modular tyres into the retail stores and on to the bicycle brands. 

A successful Sales Development Representative must have great enthusiasm for all things sales related, for building a business, and great knowledge of relevant techniques and principles. The ideal candidate will also be an excellent communicator, result driven and effective.

You will:

You will help us attract new partners and grow into new markets by finding leads, booking meetings and otherwise facilitate the sales process in any necessary capacity.

Although this include work with the whole sales process both B2C and B2B, your main tasks will be towards B2B:

  • Book online and/or physical meetings with new and existing leads through email, phone calls and other means
  • Follow up with current customers and help them succeed
  • Assist with lead generation in new and existing markets
  • Research leads find relevant information that can be used in the sales process
  • Prepare updates and reports to track growth and success rates
  • Participate in developing sales and growth strategies - and execute on those strategies
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to improve the impact on the markets/countries we are moving into
  • Acquire insight in trends, techniques and tools available for growing the company and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Participate in meetings
  • Travel to bike exhibitions around the world

Professional qualifications:

  • Ability to both plan strategically and execute hands on
  • Ability to apply sales techniques over digital and non-digital channels
  • 2+ years of experience within sales or marketing 
  • Preferably some experience from the sports retail or bike industry (not required)
  • Relevant education or proof of skill
  • Be a fast learner and comfortable with responsibility and challenges
  • Ability to take initiative, employ good judgment and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills (English and Norwegian)
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
  • Be great at adapting to the use of new software tools (no not excel, pp or word – these are expected that everyone knows, but the modern software tools that are being used such as slack, Monday, Hubspot and so forth).
