Temple Cycles (United Kingdom) - Our mission is to make great bikes that people love to ride. At Temple Cycles, we have created a range of modern bikes with a classic aesthetic for city, country, touring and road riding. All our bikes are lightweight, durable and versatile. Most importantly, they are built to last. Based between Bristol and London, we sell our bikes online and at our premises in both cities.

We are looking to expand our company with friendly and approachable team members who are passionate about our products and who will help us to reimagine the way we travel and explore on two wheels.

Your role:

Temple Cycles is first and foremost about the bike. Carefully engineered, and beautifully crafted - a bike built for life. As a Workshop Assistant at Temple you will be responsible for helping the Bike Builders to bring to life our product. You as an individual will be responsible for creating sub-assemblies and assisting in other workshop and warehousing processes. You will gain all relevant knowledge and training through our Temple Cycles Workshop Development programme.

Responsabilities:

Workshop Assistant Tasks:

• Pick parts for bike assemblies and builds
• Create sub-assemblies for bike builds
• Pack bikes and other products for deliveries and shipments

General Workshop Tasks:

• Maintain a workstation in good working order, checking equipment regularly
• Assist the Workshop Manager and Bike Builders with general workshop tasks
• Keep workstations and general workshop and warehouse environments clean and clear at all times

Jobs requirements:

• Passion for high quality products and/or bikes
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Keen learner looking to progress in a bike building and workshop role
• Self-motivated
• Work well in both a team and doing independent work
• Previous experience in bike mechanics or bike building not necessary
