Boels Dolmans Cycling Team (USA) - Press Release: Anna van der Breggen is on her way to win her second Tour of California.
The worldchampion finished behind her teammate Katie Hall 30 seconds before the first pursuer.
Van der Breggen, who won the tour in 2017, already won the first stage thursday. In stage 2 she attacked together with her teammate Katie Hall, the winner of last year's edition. In the short, but steep queenstage to the top of the Mount Bady nobody had an answer to the attack of Van der Breggen and Hall.
On the finish line Van der Breggen left the win to Katie Hall, making it a double podium for the Boels Dolmans team, the lead in the GC (Van der Breggen) and polkadot jersey (Hall).
