Lotto Soudal Targets Stage Success at 104th Giro d’Italia

Lotto-Soudal Cycling Team (Italy) - Press Release: The 104th Giro d'Italia kicks off on Saturday 8 May.

Lotto Soudal will be at the start of the 104th Giro d’Italia with the following eight riders: Jasper De Buyst (27), Thomas De Gendt (34), Caleb Ewan (26), Kobe Goossens (25), Roger Kluge (35), Tomasz Marczyński (37), Stefano Oldani (23) and Harm Vanhoucke (23). The Giro starts with an 8-kilometre opening time trial in Turin. After three weeks of racing in Italy, the curtain falls on the Giro with another individual test against the clock towards the city centre of Milan. Sports director Mario Aerts talks us through the Lotto Soudal Giro line-up.

“With these eight riders, we have a mix of experience and youth. We should be able to compete on almost every terrain with this eight-man squad, except for the general classification. The aim is to go for at least one stage win and we also want to show ourselves in the front line”, starts Mario Aerts.
