Milano Sanremo (Italy) - Press Release: Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck) has won the 114th edition of Milano-Sanremo presented by Crédit Agricole, the first Monument Classic of the season, after a late attack on the Poggio ascent. At the finish line on Via Roma, he came first ahead of Filippo Ganna (Ineos Grenadiers) and Wout Van Aert (Jumbo-Visma).
