Meet the All-New Top Fuel: The Bike that's Fast, Fun, and Always up for an Adventure

Trek (United States) - Press Release: Top Fuel is a full suspension XC mountain bike that's equally suited to racing and having an all-around great time on any trail. It's fast, fun, and always up for an adventure.

It's right for you if...

Whether you’re racing or riding singletrack with your buds, you like going fast and having fun. Top Fuel is a full suspension ride that’s just as much at home in XC races and marathon adventures as it is hopping around in the woods.

More travel, more control:

Every Top Fuel model has a 120mm fork and 115mm of rear travel. That’s just the right amount of suspension for speed when you’re putting the hammer down and fun when you’re railing corners and flying down wild descents.

Slack and stable:

Top Fuel’s updated XC frame geometry is longer, slacker, and more stable in the rough. Each model also comes with a 13° stem. You can run it negative for a powerful XC race posture or flip it up for a more trail-friendly fit.

Trail bike tech, race bike mentality:

The new Top Fuel frame has similar design elements to Trek’s trail bikes, including a Straight Shot down tube for extra stiffness and Knock Block frame defense that prevents damage from spinning bars and fork crowns.

Your ride, your way:

Every Top Fuel has Mino Link adjustable geometry so you can fine-tune your fit, along with Control Freak cable routing so you can cleanly manage your brake, shift, and dropper cables and set them up to your preference.

Ready to rip:

Top Fuel is a great choice for XC racing, but it’s also built to handle off-the-beaten-singletrack adventures. Every model comes stock with a dropper post, and the frame has enough clearance for wide 2.4˝ tires.

Top Fuel 9.9 AXS:

Top Fuel 9.9 XX1 AXS is our top-of-the-line full suspension carbon mountain bike for endurance racers and multi-discipline riders. This down-country rig is built with the latest in fully wireless components like the SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS drivetrain and RockShox Reverb AXS dropper. It's also spec'd with high-end RockShox suspension and lots of carbon—including the wheels, bars, and shift levers. You'll fly through singletrack and rip descents on this bike, but it really shines when pushed to its full potential during grueling endurance races.
