Pivot unveils the Shuttle eMTB
Pivot Cycles (USA) – “Pivot Cycles unveils the Shuttle – go further, ride harder, and conquer the toughest technical challenges with this extraordinary 19.95kg (44lbs) eMTB”, shared Pivot Cycles.

“The full carbon 140mm travel Shuttle sets a new benchmark in the eMTB category. The new Pivot Shuttle features class leading light weight, progressive enduro geometry, and a perfectly balanced chassis. The Shuttle’s dw-link™ suspension is tuned specifically for the high power output of Shimano’s Steps E8000 pedal assist system. The Pivot Shuttle sets a new standard in the category, bringing Pivot Cycles’ quality and performance to an authentic, pro-level, enduro eMTB”, they added.

“When designing the Shuttle, we wanted to really raise the bar by developing a true pro-level enduro/trail bike within the eMTB category. The Shuttle combines every design feature and standard for stiffness, strength and performance that Pivot mountain bikes are known for,” said Pivot President and CEO Chris Cocalis. “Combined with Shimano’s incredible E8000 system, our innovative full carbon chassis and some clever engineering solutions to battery integration, we were able to exceed our goals and build an incredibly light eMTB with short 17.2” (437mm) chainstays, balanced handling, and a level of overall performance not previously available in the eMTB category.”

The Shuttle is spec’d with an eMTB specific DT Swiss wheelset and Maxxis tires with Silk-Shield Technology. The DT Swiss EB1550 wheelset is custom designed for Pivot to accommodate the torque produced by pedal assist systems. Co-developed with Pivot, the Maxxis Silk-Shield casing is far stronger and much lighter than a traditional downhill casing, and offers a supple ride feel for the best on-trail handling. The Shuttle offers tire clearance up to 3.0”, wide 27.5+ and is 29” compatible.
