As a teaser for the imminent release Podia published their season’s lookbook, shot on location in Catalunya by Berlin based photographer Constantin Gerlach.
Jerseys:
Five new designs make up the range of jerseys with a combination of updated favourites such as the Club Colours Light and Aerospace Orange along with the use of a new colour that moves away from Podia’s brand colours of orange, purple and gold.
Nova is the first jersey to use the new Cerrillos Blue that takes repeating Podia design elements and puts a new twist to them. Peacocking builds on the work of Marco Ammannati using abstract shapes inspired by the plumage of the majestic bird to create a jersey that is both subtle and elegant, yet colourful and flamboyant.
Lightweight Protection:
As with the rest of their range, Podia has worked hard through a period of prototyping to refine the new Lightweight Protection garments. An ultra lightweight vest that protects the rider’s body in key places from the wind and rain using an advanced DWR material as well as a lightweight mesh to allow for ventilation. An internal stuff pocket ensures it can pack into a very small package ready for the jersey pocket. The new Podia vest is available in black with orange accents or in a bright Aerospace Orange or the new Cerrillos Blue.
A micro-fleece backed Lycra is the key to the new arm warmers that provide a high level of thermal protection for such a small and lightweight item. Available in various colours to match to Podia jerseys, they are also being sold individually to allow for mix and matching.
