Populo Bikes (USA) – According to Populo Bikes, "The new Populo Curve is the ultimate in flexibility for urban commuters. It gives the rider great comfort, room for cargo and the ability to fold away to fit into compact spaces."
The Populo Curve features a Shimano Nexus internal 3-speed hub, a powerful 350-watt front hub motor, a suspension fork and over 20 miles of range per charge, all with a price tag under $1500.
“The Populo Curve is perfect for anyone living with minimal storage space, but who still needs to get around town. It is a great choice for someone who lives in the city, on a boat, or travels extensively and wants to take a bike. We made it comfortable, easy to ride and it takes you to your destination with minimal effort. We also added a throttle, so you can take the bike and go without pedaling at all. Plus, when you’re back from work, school, travel or leisure, you just fold it up for storage,” said Jeremy Griffin, national sales manager of Populo Bicycles. “The Curve easily fits in a closet, under your desk or just about anywhere” he added.
The Populo Curve is a California Class II electric bicycle with throttle and pedal-assist (up to 20mph). The double-butted aluminum frame is one-size-fits-all and comes with a storage-rack to carry everything from books to bags and more.
The Curve is offered in matte black at an MSRP of $1,499.
