“The X-Trail is one of the bikes in the Ridley range we are the most excited about”, states Head of Product & Marketing, Morten Kristiansen.

X-Trail combines the features of a gravel, cyclocross and road bike in one. "It’s comfortable, responsive, light and stiff as a road bike and with Ridley iconic allday capabilities, built for adventure", added Ridley.

With the expertise within cyclocross Ridley is making a point of not compromising the cyclocross products that are dedicated true racing and professional athletes. Instead Ridley has created an ideal mix of properties in the X-Trail Carbon for adventure, cyclocross riding and even commuting: “Ridley cross bikes feature a true Belgian race geometry and with the X-Trail we cover the athletes who are looking for a more compliant and subtle platform. The frame even has small fender mounts to make it a true do-it-all platform”, explains Kristiansen.

True to the concept the X-Trail is equipped with 1-by drivetrains and is available at authorized Ridley retailers globally from September, both as complete bikes and frame fork sets.

Ridley will also offer the X-Trail Carbon in custom colors through their Customizer program launching later in the year.
