Roglic Wins Third Consecutive Stage in Tirreno

Team Jumbo-Visma (Italy) - Press Release: After winning the fourth and fifth stage, Primoz Roglic has also won the sixth stage of Tirreno-Adriatico. In a hilly stage with many steep climbs, the Slovenian crossed the line first after a sprint from a small group. As a result, Roglic increased his lead in the general classification.

"This is a wonderful victory", said Roglic. "I didn't expect to be fighting for the win this week. I'm just enjoying being back on the bike in competition. It was a tough day with a lot of attacks. The team did an excellent job of controlling the race. As a result, I was able to finish it off at the end. You can make many plans beforehand, but ultimately your legs will determine how well you perform. Luckily I had strong legs today."
