Niner (United States) - Press Release: My name is Talus Lantz, I’m 18 years old and I’m on the Niner Future of Enduro team. I've been riding bikes since I was 4, riding with my family and a local bike team and I’ve loved every minute of it! I started racing when I was 12 doing cross country and slowly transitioned into Enduro stuff.

This is now my 5th year racing enduro! I’ve played around a bit with frame sizes for my race bike, and I settled on a size large RIP 9 RDO with the Eagle GX 3-Star build. I like the size large because of the stability at speed, and the plush suspension platform the RIP 9 offers makes it easy to smash through technical sections. I made some changes to the stock build, including parts from my sponsor Fox, like the Transfer post and the Float X2 shock, which ride super smooth and plush. I am also running tires from the team sponsor Wilderness Trail Bikes, the Vigilante 2.5 front and the Judge 2.4 rear. The rubber from WTB hooks up everywhere, plenty of grip to be had. I run Ibis 842 Carbon wheels with Cuschcore installed front and rear for extra protection when racing. I also run Shimano XT 4-piston brakes for more power and good lever feel, and I put a Renthal 50 mm Apex stem on the front because I like a longer cockpit.
