The shifter:

A shift lever that is attached to the Smart Handlebar Unit will trigger a shift.

The smart thru axle:

The Smart Thru Axle receives the wireless signal and then uses a contactless energy transfer from the battery to electronically trigger the shifting process. It is powered by a Micro-USB rechargeable battery, allowing more than 10,000 shifts on a single charge.

The powershift hub:

When the POWERSHIFT hub receives the signal, it shifts between two gear ratios – to a large 46 tooth chainring or a small, virtual 32 tooth chainring.
