"The ST1 X is unlocked and readied for off by smartphone or via the weather and scratch-resistant touchscreen built into the toptube. The Comfort or Sport frame design will be an obvious choice depending on individual requirements or habits, and the frame size in the three dimensions 17”, 20” and 22” will be determined by the user's build, for optimum ergonomics and safety.

In Switzerland the motor is the same whatever the category, with an output of 500 watts and an ample 35 Nm of torque. It assists pedaling on the S‑Pedelec with ease at up to 45 km/h; the speed of the Pedelec version, for which no driver’s license is needed, is capped at 25 km/h. The motor is integrated attractively into the hub of the rear wheel. The rear-wheel drive is the most efficient and logical solution for a commuter bike both from a technical viewpoint and in terms of power output. What’s more, with maximum energy recovery the rear motor acts like a coaster brake, with the result that it simultaneously recovers electrical energy. The 618 watt-hours battery integrated into the frame permits ranges of up to 120 km – or an 814 Wh battery can be supplied as an option (for a range of up to 150 km).
