Simplon (Austria) - The Cirex SL with its super-lightweight frame saves you about 200 grams compared to the standard Cirex and pushes the limits of what’s possible. A balanced geometry allows for high speeds in demanding terrain. In addition, the suspension absorbs both moderate and hard impacts with high efficiency.

The Cirex SL is the ultimate bike for all cross-country enthusiasts, summit racers and touring riders who want to generate maximum output with minimum effort. But it’s not only a delight to ride during climbs – it shows off its merits on tough downhills as well: The full-suspension MTB is available with 100 mm suspension travel or, alternatively, in a down-country version with 120 mm.

Features:

The ultra-lightweight carbon frame and the compact rocker result in a considerable weight advantage. This provides noticeable propulsion, especially when riding uphill. 

The more efficient geometry – flatter steering angle, steeper seat angle, longer reach, etc. –  is made for steep climbs and demanding descents.

Chainstay protectors on the inside of the chainstay provide comprehensive frame protection. Damage to the paintwork caused by stones and dirt kicked up by the tyre is now a thing of the past.

A chain guide is optionally available as well.

What’s more, there’s no cable rub, and the bike sports a clean look thanks to internal cable routing: All cables such as the shift cable and brake line are routed through the inside of the frame. The pivoting cable guide on the main bearing keeps things sleek and also sets the technical standard in terms of cable routing.
