Hammer Sport have a wealth of experience, built on years of riding continental sportives at the highest level. Andrew Thompson, founder of Hammer Sport, organises events with a continental flavour, coaching, superb bikes and componentry to help you realise your full potential as a sportive rider.

The UK’s Premier Continental Sportive Club & Team:

A professionally run cycling club with European Sportive Racing at its heart. Our members live mainly across the South of England and meet on a regular basis for events, club rides and ‘Challenge’ events, both in the UK and on the Continent. Members simply concentrate on cycling – everything else is arranged Hammer Sport!

Hammer Bikes:

Hammer Sport’s extensive depth of knowledge is used to identify and source very specific framesets for the Hammer Bike range led by the Hammer Capella Team Edition frame ridden by many of our team and club members.

We can supply framesets and complete bikes from leading brands across Europe including Edelsten, Orro, Argon 18, De Rosa, Dedaccia and Thompson but always with your needs in mind.

Our Events:

Hammer Sportive Ltd are organisers of the Hammer Sportive series of cyclo sportive events in the Devon.

We organise the very successful and established Hammer Sportive from Salcombe, Devon, during April and the Hammer Martello Gran Fondo from Okehampton, Devon during October every year. We bring our continental passion and experience to our events to make the atmosphere as close as possible to riding in Europe.

Training:

Our staff have ridden at the highest levels of the sport and you will certainly benefit from their experience. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist, or a complete novice, we all need help to ensure we get the best from ourselves. Our training programmes are not elitist and are tailored specifically for you, ensuring you get the most from your time with us.
