Festka Scalatore

We counted every gram and tweaked the composition of the tubes with the single goal of reducing the weight of the frame without compromising its durability and stiffness. As light as this frame is, Scalatore will give you all the support and agility you need on the excruciatingly long winding stacks of mountain switchbacks. Every tube of this bike was meticulously designed to make Scalatore a very special ultra-light frame set excelling in performance.
Thanks to our thorough testing and R&D we have created tubes with a decreased number of filament layers to lower their weight at the same time maintaining their perfect torsional stiffness and stability. The wide head tube and robust tapered down tube ensure the bicycle's reliable handling and stability at high speed on descents, giving the rider the confidence of a safe ride. Light does not have to mean wobbly.
CARBON DROPOUTS integral to construction are manufactured using CNC automated AFL technology. The angle of carbon fiber layering in these drop-outs precisely copies the angle between seat stays and chain-stays. Precision and scrupulosity in such minute details makes this bike a true pinnacle of advanced technological manufacture. Drop-outs are fitted with easily replaceable aluminum hanger.
Ribble Endurance SL R Series
The new Ribble Endurance SL R Series sits at the top of the Ribble Endurance range and is an ultralight road platform designed for Endurance racing and riding. With a carefully considered geometry resulting in a frameset that offers precise handling, excellent responsiveness, stability and long distance comfort with enough adjustability to suit both endurance riders and those looking for a more performance optimised riding position. The shape and design of every tube profile and intersection is there for a reason all contributing to the overall performance and ride feel you get from the SL R Series platform.
The built in aerodynamic tech, builds tipping the scales below the UCI weight limit and disc and caliper brake options mean the Endurance SL R Series platform offers a performance advantage in all race situations.
The experienced Endurance rider will benefit from the race bike attributes designed into the frame and will also see gain from the comfort enhancing and fatigue reducing features ensuring that they can go further, higher and quicker whether all day Epic or Weekend Gran Fondo.
The SL R Series frameset is manufactured from a carefully selected blend of Toray’s carbon using more of the T1000 grade than the standard SL and layered to an exacting specification to reduce weight without compromising stiffness and strength. The frame is crafted using advanced monocoque mould technology incorporating an EPS inner core system which ensures complete consistency of the structural integrity of the fibres and resin throughout the frame. This system also eliminates excess material on the inside of the frame.
Aerodynamics have been a major consideration in the development of the new Endurance SL R Series with the new frameset generating up to 28.5% less drag compared to the previous generation. The aerodynamics are further enhanced by the new integrated carbon cockpit system which generates over 40% less drag than a conventional handlebar set up.
Aerodynamic drag saving features include,
1) Truncated aerofoil down tube
2) Aero fork blade profile
3) Truncated aerofoil seat tube and seat post
4) Internal cable routing
5) Optional aero one-piece cockpit enabling all cables to be routed internally and away from the airflow generating over 40% less drag compared to a conventional bar and stem set up (disc brake version has all cables completely hidden and caliper brake just the front brake cable).

Donnelly G//C
