Bianchi (Italy) – The Italian noteworthy brands collaborate to launch the “Bianchi for Scuderia Ferrari” project.

When two noteworthy brands like Bianchi and Ferrari, that made history in cycling races and motorsports respectively, come together, the result is bound to be exciting and fascinating. This is what is going to happen as Bianchi, known as an iconic brand in the cycling world for its Italian creativity, innovation and design, joins forces with Ferrari, the revered sports car manufacturer and the most winning team in the history of Formula One, to launch the “Bianchi for Scuderia Ferrari” project under a licensing agreement.

Bianchi will develop, produce and distribute worldwide a “Scuderia Ferrari” branded range of high-end bicycles which will offer various product categories: Road, MTB, E-Bike, City-Fitness, and Kids. The R&D and Design departments from Bianchi and Ferrari will work closely to develop exclusive models inspired by the technical excellence of the racing team.

It’s a collaboration between two companies that, in their respective sectors, made history, leaving a unique mark of Italian style through their designs and innovation. Bianchi has always held a close relationship with the racing scene as a key function to develop their products. Since 1885 (their year of establishment), Bianchi has become a legendary brand in cycling history thanks to the top results from their most representative champions—from Coppi, Gimondi, and Pantani up until today’s champions—all the while leading the way in technological evolution of the bicycle for decades.

“We strongly desired this collaboration with Ferrari” — Salvatore Grimaldi, owner and Chairman of the historic brand from Treviglio, explains — “We will continue to develop the project over the next years thanks to the combined efforts of two Italian excellences. Working together will allow us to develop new products shaped by the mix of top-class knowledge and expertise from the two parts, creating successful and innovative models just like Bianchi and Ferrari have always done”.

Technology, performance, lightness, esthetic research, and material excellence are the key words for a project that will sign a landmark for cycling and motorsports enthusiasts.

The “Bianchi for Scuderia Ferrari” project will be officially presented in Friedrichshafen - Germany, at the Eurobike show, from August 30th to September 2nd 2017.
