Repente (Italy) - Magnet is the ultralight ultimate saddle model, specific for TT/Triathlon.

Repente was able to trim the weight down to an outstanding 135 grams - creating the entire structure by autoclave processing. This process ensures a more compact and uniform carbon fibre texture, enhancing the mechanical properties of the material as no other machining process can do.

Both for the rail and for the shell of its Magnet model, Repente has chosen high-modulus unidirectional carbon fibre.

Magnet is shaped to be anatomical and ergonomic and is designed to adapt also to the female body shape. The wide central anatomical channel guarantees sitting comfort, especially in the most aerodynamic position, when the width of the seat tip provides the cyclist with all - and just - the necessary support. 

Magnet has been specially shaped on the basis of studies carried out to ensure an optimal distribution of weight over the saddle surface, help blood circulation in the pressure points and avoid any annoying feeling of numbness.

Repente launched a differential section rail to take into account the differences in the distribution of forces along the longitudinal and transverse axes of the saddle. The length of the rail allows for clamp fixing over a longer travel.

The padding is made of EVA, a high-performance material of medium density.

The PU cover material is coupled to a special grip layer, located in the seat tip, which helps the cyclist maintain the ideal sitting position (as if a magnet kept him there…) even in peak effort conditions, while allowing for freedom of movement. The side surfaces in contact with the thighs are instead perfectly smooth. 

Repente has particularly focussed on the design of the saddle - its corporate slogan being "Cycling is an Art". The lower part of the shell has been embellished with a reproduction of the silhouette of a cyclist in an aerodynamic position.

Magnet is currently officially supplied to the Spanish professional team Caja Rural - Rga and to the women's elite teams Wnt Rotor and BePink.
