State Bicycle Co. (United States) - State Bicycle Co. releases the Undefeated Road, their second geared bike and first performance road bike.

Available with two build options or as a frameset, the Undefeated Road takes performance to a whole new level with 7005 Double-Butted Aluminum tubing, an oversized tapered head tube and a full carbon fork that come together to create a stiff, responsive, and fast ride. State paired the frameset with some of the best build kits available– SRAM Force AXS and SRAM Apex, the former with with 1x or 2x chainring options.

As you’d expect from State, the Undefeated Road looks as sharp as it is fast. Subtle rainbow flake clearcoat with black build kits and trim give it a purposeful look. If you’re a fan of classic designs you’ll find something to love in the lines of the frame, too. The Undefeated Road eschews the trend of dropped seat stays and aero tubing for a traditional diamond silhouette. Built upon the legacy of State’s top-of-the-line Undefeated Track Bike, the Undefeated Road is the perfect bike for your next crit, county line sprint, or styling coffee ride.

Details: The SRAM Force eTap AXS Drivetrain features quick and precise electronic shifting over a lightweight 10-33 cassette. Riders can choose the simplicity of SRAM’s 1x system, or go for a wider range of gears by selecting the 2x crankset. All of this is sitting upon DT Swiss P1800 wheels which sport a wide, light and tubeless-ready aluminum rim, complemented DT Swiss' proven hub system and a high-end build with bladed spokes and aluminum nipples. The AXS package gives the Undefeated Road race-winning potential out of the box.  

SRAM Apex 1 | MSRP: $1299.99:

Offering a simplified 1x11 drivetrain paired with an 11-32T Cassette, the Apex 1 build provides a gear range to meet the challenges of the road. The SRAM DoubleTap shifter provides smooth shifting, and the Mavic Aksium wheels wrapped in Michelin Dynamic Sport tires, glide over the road ahead. State’s stiff yet compliant Black Label 31.8mm handlebar and stem provide control in the cockpit. The Undefeated Apex begs for speed, so be prepared to race your mates when the city limit sign comes up!

There’s an old adage… “Don’t race, what you can’t replace.” the Undefeated Road is an aluminum crit-killer that can withstand the beatings of training, traveling, and commuting. The frameset includes a full carbon fiber fork with tapered steerer tube for light weight and stiffness, and a fully-sealed FSA integrated headset.
