This is What Husqvarna Bicycles Looks Like in 2020!

Husqvarna Bicycles (Germany) - Press Release: We proudly present Husqvarna Bicycles Collection 2020! While our established models come with improved technical features and shine in a new design, four new product categories make City Cruisers and Explorer hearts beat faster.

365 days Husqvarna Bicycles:

Over the past 365 days, the entire Husqvarna Bicycles team has been working hard on the new collection, creating a total of 11 model categories in OnRoad, AllRoad and OffRoad. In addition to technically refined models in a new design, eBike fans can expect the new segments Eco City, Gran Urban, Cross Tourer and Gran Sport in 2020.

"From the city to the extreme trail, from the medium price range to the high-end machine - with model year 2020 we are expanding the range of our target groups and establishing Husqvarna Bicycles as a fixed pedelec brand for all categories," explains Susanne Puello, CEO of PEXCO GmbH. In addition to the highly sporty MTB models, which have already brought plenty of suspension travel to the trails in 2019, Husqvarna Bicycles is expanding the urban segment with the new Cross Tourer, a trekking vehicle that serves one purpose only: to explore the world!

Next year there will also be a new Husqvarna clothing collection for the first time. Helmets, bike wear, casual wear and accessories - Husqvarna Bicycles has the right equipment for every occasion.

Independent & self-confident design:

In order to pay tribute to the brand DNA of Husqvarna, the drive unit will continue to be at the centre of the design in model year 2020. It is surrounded by Husqvarna's own Skeleton Interface, which was designed to be open and floating. Manufactured by Gravity Casting - a special casting technology from the automotive industry. From below, the SkidPlate reliably protects against shocks and stone impacts. The new graphic design is a further development of the successfully introduced Husqvarna brand language: Independent, self-confident without appearing too complex or arbitrary. The iconic Husqvarna logo dominates the centre of every eBike as a central brand element. All frames are treated with a powder coating process: Powder coating is applied in several steps to produce extremely durable surfaces. The paintwork is thus able to withstand shocks, scratches and even the toughest off-road applications with flying colours.

Tone-in-tone with subtle highlights or self-confident, high-contrast colour combinations - the new, carefully extended colour range covers a wide field without sacrificing the unity of the brand.

Natural driving experience thanks to Shimano STEPS E8000:

All Husqvarna Bicycles top models are equipped with a powerful 630 Wh Intube battery. The new Shimano E8035 with 504 Wh is also available as an Intube version. With a directly fitted cover, the energy carrier blends in beautifully with the frame design.

SHIMANO STEPS E8000: An E-MTB system for trail support with a natural ride feeling. The powerful mid-motor (70 Nm/250 W) masters the steepest trails and intuitively provides exactly the right amount of support for the rider every time he pedals. At 2.8 kg, it is one of the lightest engines on the market. A light, stiff crank set also ensures direct power transmission. The Firebolt switch with intuitive operation convinces with its ergonomic design. It offers a maximum of comfort and reliability when switching between the different modes on the trail. The stylish handlebar-mounted computer with dynamic LCD display shows gear number, power assist mode and battery range information. The E5000, E6100 and E7000 systems are also used in accordance with the model's usage variant, offering support levels of up to 504 Wh.

Husqvarna Bicycles - At home in the city:

Hardly any other brand can boast such enormous target group relevance and brand size as Husqvarna. A brand whose wide range of products stands for quality and a high degree of electrification and is popular with men and women alike. So it is only a logical consequence that Husqvarna also feels at home in the urban sector. "With the newly developed Gran Urban, we are setting a completely new visual highlight in the city," explains Susanne Puello, CEO of PEXCO GmbH. The equipment suitable for road traffic regulations and a permissible total weight of 130 kg make the urban cruiser the ideal vehicle for the city! Wide Super Moto tyres and an automatically lowerable seat post offer a lot of comfort and thanks to the Intube battery with 504Wh legs never get tired, even over long distances.

"With our completely new urban range Gran Urban, Eco City and Gran Sport we will offer the right eBike for all price classes, all usage variants and target groups in urban areas and thus round off the range with the existing & technically optimised Gran City models", Susanne Puello summarises the objective.
