Restrap (United Kingdom): Press Release: Adventure Race Range.

After 18 months of in-house development and testing with our ambassadors, Restrap can announce the launch of their Adventure Race Range. Consisting of four “on-the-bike” and one “on-body” products, Restrap has pushed the boundaries of its design and manufacturing capabilities to produce the lightest complete race range yet.

Designed for all types of cycling adventures, including audaxes, races, and ultra rides, this range meets all the criteria for a UK hand-made Restrap Range.

"The range is an exciting opportunity for the brand", says MD and product designer Nathan. “We can showcase our manufacturing and design skills and have successfully produced a bike-packing race range with an ultralight ideology that will appeal to performance riders."

The Adventure Race Race range is created using the most advanced manufacturing techniques, including CNC and laser cutting.

• Reflective detailing 

"We launched some initial concepts for the Adventure Race Range at the Eurobike show in 2019", says Sales Director Edward Kingston, "and had an amazing response both from the trade and public for this UK-made range".

Race Top Tube:

The Adventure Race Top Tube Bag has been designed as a durable and lightweight bag for ultra-distance riding, audax, and races. Using X21, a technical waterproof fabric, 6oz nylon lining, YKK zips, and our unique Hypalon zip cover. Reflective detailing adds visibility during night time riding.

The bag is held firmly in place with a three-point Hypalon fitting. A new universal headset fitting and internal plastic structure keeps the bag upright, stable and secure, and is designed to work with all headsets, including bikes with a low stack height. An adjustable frame fitting means the bag will work with most frame bags and all Restrap Frame Bags.

Race Frame Bag:

The Adventure Race Frame Bag has been designed as a durable and lightweight bag for ultra-distance riding, Audaxes, and races. Using X21, a waterproof technical fabric, 6oz nylon lining, and YKK zip, the bag gives easy access to your gear whilst on the move while remaining lightweight and inconspicuous.

A Hypalon pocket cover and pockets on each side keep your things organised and easy to reach. Reflective detailing aids visibility during night riding and an extra cable slot is also provided at the front of the bag for dyno cabling and charging. Race Saddle Bag:

The Adventure Race Saddle Bag uses a laser-cut holster design and is built for ultra-distance riding, audax, and races. The holster has a dedicated 7.0L drybag that is 100% waterproof and is secured with a Fidlock™ magnetic buckle that's easy to adjust, even whilst wearing gloves. Nylon webbing, Hypalon straps, and foam blocks secure the holster around the seat post, keeping the bag securely in place without sway.

The holster is a hardshell construction with an X21 technical outer and includes Hypalon loops to attach a rear light whilst further Hypalon detailing aids durability and prevents scuffs and scratches. Reflective detailing on the dry bag adds visibility during night time riding.

The Adventure Race Musette Bag is a stylish addition to our range, both on and off the bike. Made from 6oz waterproof coated nylon, our musettes are durable and reliable. A popper fastener keeps everything secure, whilst an adjustable Hypalon shoulder strap tailors the bag to any user. Included on the inside of the bag is an elastic loop, allowing the bag to be packed down and folded to a minute size, allowing it to fit into a jersey pocket or any other luggage with ease.
