Job Offer by Giant Bicycles - Marketing Manager

Giant Bicycles (USA) - The Marketing Manager (MM) will work with the National Retail Services and Marketing Manager to plan, strategize and execute marketing initiatives to establish and maintain brand presence in the market for Giant Group USA brands.

The MM will work with cross-functional team members and be responsible for managing all areas of planning/production/execution across a wide variety of deliverables including:

  • Brand Management: day-to-day leadership of brands across marketing channels (digital, creative, events, sports marketing, field marketing). The Marketing Manager will also collaborate with teams from Product, Sales, E-Commerce and Retail Services to gain insights and develop strategies to increase brand awareness to drive product sales.
  • Product and Brand Assets: Lead the creative design & content development of Sales workbooks, Gear catalog, infographics, Sales & Marketing internal communication, retail marketing programs, digital marketing initiatives, and interactive web experiences.
  • Partnerships & Collaborations: develop on-brand marketing partnerships & collaborations, both ongoing and project-based, as well as review inbound partnership, sponsorship, and collaboration opportunities for all brands.
  • Influencer & Community Development: develop and rollout plans for building and fostering a community around the Giant USA brands to generate word-of-mouth buzz and grassroots awareness. Tell the story of our brands purely and authentically in the bicycle industry.
  • Public Relations/Digital: lead agency relationships and marketing team from briefing to execution. Identify and leverage website marketing, social media channels and initiatives, video brand & product highlights, and future interactive web experiences. Develop media kits, write press releases, secure brand-enhancing coverage, and lead product seeding.
  • Events & Activations: collaborate with Events team on planning and management of brand events, activations, and sponsorships to increase brand awareness, connect with community and support business goals - including in-store and field teams.
  • Budgets: Annual department budget management and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Marketing or Business Administration. MBA preferred
  • 5+ years Brand Marketing experience
  • 3+ years Digital (website, social, email, CRM) Marketing experience
  • Experience in managing multiple brands, creative briefs, product life cycle campaigns
  • Skilled in managing and motivating a diverse internal and external team
  • Ability to work independently and adapt easily to change
  • Passion for cycling and/or sporting goods industry
  • Strong project management skills and experience working successfully with cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of Media and Public Relations, Advertising and Digital agencies
  • Domestic and some international travel required
  • Must possess valid USA driver license
